The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) has started and it is already in full swing! AEP is the only time of the year where you can changes to your Medicare Advantage or Part D Prescription plan. Companies are required to send out letters notifying clients of any changes to their plan. Please review these changes because everything about the plan may change. These changes may include the premium, deductible, co-payments and the medications that are covered. It is important to review them now because this is the only time of the year where you can change your coverage.
Changing coverages is not required. If you are happy with your coverages, if the changes aren’t significant then you don’t HAVE to make a change. Also it is important to remember that your Medicare Supplement can be changed year around. There are no time frames for changing Supplements.
