The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is still a few months away but companies will start notifying existing clients of changes to their coverages shortly. It is very important to pay attention to any mailings from your current carrier. A lot of clients either ignore these notices or miss them entirely. Companies are required to send out information detailing these changes. And in general everything about plans change including premium, deductibles, co-payments, networks and the covered medications. Not paying attention to these changes can result in drastically increased costs or the inability to access a preferred pharmacy. If you have concerns about your coverage you can always check in with your Stockett and Associates agent. Consultations are always free of charge.
